New details about Samsung Galaxy Tri Fold foldable smartphone

The rumors about Samsung’s foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Tri Fold, have not died down this year: after several official hints, fresh details about the device’s key specs have emerged.

Titanium frame and improved durability
According to insider @PandaFlashPro, the model will get a combined frame made of titanium and aluminum, a solution that Samsung has already used in its flagships, including the Galaxy S-series and iPhone. This should improve the durability of the device, especially given its complex foldable design.
Snapdragon and 16GB of RAM
The smartphone will probably be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset (no specific model has been named, but it’s logical to assume Snapdragon 8 Elite – the same processor found in the Galaxy S25). RAM will be 16GB, which is in line with the trends of 2025.
Do away with the under-display camera
Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Tri Fold will not have an under-display camera (UDC). Similar rumors have previously concerned the Z Fold 7 – Samsung may be temporarily reverting back to perforated cameras to improve camera quality.
Other expected features
- Triple folding: Main screen is 9.96 inches, outer screen is 6.49 inches
- Foldable Battery: For increased battery life.
- Modest charging: Speed may be inferior to competitors.
- Possible nameSamsung Galaxy G Fold
When to expect the presentation?
The device could be unveiled July 9 at the Galaxy Unpacked event along with the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Watch 8.
Important: An insider labeled the data as “confirmed,” but there’s no official statement from Samsung yet. We’ll have to wait for the announcement!”
