New world, new heroine
The protagonist of Beast of Reincarnation is Emma, nicknamed Sealing. Together with her dog Ku, she is trying to stop the spread of a spoilage that threatens to wipe out humanity. According to the trailer, players will see elements of melee combat using a blade and exploring the world using lianas and other acrobatic techniques.
The project is being directed by Kota Furushima, who has not previously appeared in the credits of Game Freak’s big titles. The game retains the studio’s recognizable art style, but offers a dark atmosphere and fast-paced gameplay that sets it apart from the usual Pokémon-inspired projects.
