Xgimi has launched a new lineup of RS 20 projectors in China, its most advanced lineup to date. All of the devices offer native 4K resolution, laser illumination, professional color correction, and features for gamers. There are four models in the series: RS 20 Plus, RS 20 Pro Max, RS 20 Ultra and RS 20 Ultra Max.
Xgimi RS 20 Ultra Max: the ultimate in features
The flagship of the series, the RS 20 Ultra Max, gets top-of-the-line stuffing: a MediaTek MT9681 processor, Mali-G57 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage. The X Master red ring lens provides optical zoom (1.2-1.5:1) and lens shift ±120% vertically and ±45% horizontally with no loss of quality.

The brightness reaches 4500 CVIA lumens (5700 ISO) and the contrast ratio is 10000:1. The projector utilizes a triple laser system with 40 emitters and Qualas 32 architecture. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid and IMAX Enhanced. The motorized housing with panning function, automatic keystone correction, AI obstacle avoidance and quiet operation at 28dB make it a versatile solution for the home. Weighs 5.4 kg and comes in an elegant Etoupe Grey color.

RS 20 Ultra: powerful but more affordable
The RS 20 Ultra gets the same MT9681 platform, but with 4GB of RAM and the same 128GB of storage. The brightness is 4100 CVIA lumens (4800 ISO). The lens is similar to the flagship’s, with nine glass lenses for high image fidelity.
There’s a Qualas 22 laser system with 36 light sources and Delta E<0.8 color accuracy. Rec.709, DCI-P3, BT.2020 and Adobe RGB color spaces are supported. For movie buffs, Da Vinci mode and 22-point image calibration are available. Gamers will love support for 240Hz at 1080p, 60Hz at 4K, as well as VRR, ALLM and a minimum latency of 1ms.
RS 20 Pro Max: Balancing movies and gaming
TheRS 20 Pro Max is an intermediate solution between the Ultra and Plus. It also offers 4K resolution, is powered by MT9681 and uses a 472TP DMD chip. Brightness is 3100 CVIA lumens (3800 ISO) and contrast ratio is 10000:1. Support for Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid and IMAX Enhanced is complemented by LUT profiles for accurate color correction.
The X-VUE 3.0 processor with AI accelerates real-time image processing. Sound is powered by two Harman Kardon speakers with surround sound support. For gamers, there’s VRR, ALLM, and latency as low as 1ms.
