Chery has unveiled a humanoid robot that will sell cars

Chinese automaker Chery is betting on high-tech not only in the cars themselves, but also in how they’re sold. The company has officially revealed robot salesman, which may soon appear in the brand’s car dealerships. This is reported by Carscoops.
AII salesman with human looks
The humanoid robot has been named Mornine. It is stylized as a woman: it has long blond hair, a humanoid build and the ability to move independently around the room. The main feature is the built-in artificial intelligence, which allows him not just to say memorized phrases, but to tell about models, technical characteristics and available options.

In addition, the robot can perform simple tasks such as offering coffee to visitors.
It’s already working in Malaysia – and it costs like a crossover
The Mornine was first shown at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025. Now one such robot is already working at Chery’s showroom in Malaysia, and the manufacturer plans to roll them out in other countries as well.

The cost of a single copy is about 50,000 US dollars (approximately 4.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate). In fact, this is the price of a modern crossover.
Not just showrooms: robots are coming to the assembly line
This is not the first time China has used humanoid robots in the automotive sector. Earlier, Dongfeng and Ubtech Technology announced a collaboration in which an android named Walker S will work not in sales, but right on the assembly line.
