Xiaomi’s new 4K and 120Hz TV is out in Europe

The new products are available in three diagonals – 55, 65 and 75 inches, priced at €479, €649 and €849 respectively. The model features a high-quality QLED matrix with 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) and wide viewing angles of 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. It supports modern HDR10+, HLG and Filmmaker Mode, which ensures accurate rendering of the author’s intent. The screen covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color space and is capable of displaying over a billion shades (1.07 billion colors) for a vibrant, rich and lifelike picture.
Gaming enthusiasts will love Game Boost mode, which increases refresh rates to 120Hz at 1080p resolution via HDMI. MEMC technology is also used to smooth motion in dynamic scenes, as well as blue light reduction and DC-dimming modes to reduce eye strain.
The audio system is represented by two 10W speakers. Dolby Audio, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X formats are supported, providing rich and crisp sound with enhanced bass.
The software platform is Google TV. Users have access to thousands of apps, Google Assistant voice assistant, built-in Chromecast, personal profiles, and support for Apple AirPlay and Miracast. A quad-core Cortex-A55 processor with Mali-G52 graphics is responsible for performance. There’s 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The TV has a wide range of ports: three HDMI (one with eARC and ALLM), USB 2.0, Ethernet, optical audio output, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and a CI+ slot for connecting to pay TV networks.
