Vivo X200 Ultra: collaboration with Rimowa and new leaks

Vivo continues to strengthen its partnerships for the release of the X200 Ultra. The company is already working with Zeiss for the camera and possibly Fujifilm for image processing. Now German brand Rimowa is getting in on the act.

According to insider Johnny Manuel, Vivo is working with premium suitcase maker Rimowa to create a unique version of the X200 Ultra. Judging by the leaked renders, the smartphone and its packaging will get the branded fluted design characteristic of Rimowa’s aluminum suitcases.
There’s no official confirmation of this collaboration yet, though, so we’ll have to wait for more announcements.

Design and display of the Vivo X200 Ultra
The regular version of the X200 Ultra will come in three colors:
- Wine Red
- Black
- White
.
The back panel will likely be made of matte glass (AG Glass).
As for the screen, the smartphone will get:
- 2K micro-quad-curved display
- Ultra-thin bezels
Cameras: flagship optics
Vivo continues to bet on premium cameras. The X200 Ultra will feature:
- 50 MP primary sensor Sony LYT-818
- 200 MP telephoto lens (85 mm)
- 50 MP macro telephoto lens
- 50 MP front camera
Performance and battery
In contrast to the X200 and X200 Pro, which will likely get a MediaTek Dimensity 9400, the X200 Ultra will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

- Battery: 6,000 mAh
- Fast charging: 100W (wired) and 50W (wireless)
Release date and sales regions
The Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in March or April. However, like its predecessor, it may remain a exclusive for China.
