Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 with Leica camera will debut in August
By ForGeeks Xiaomi president Lu Weibing announced today that the Mix Fold 3 will launch in August. He made the announcement in a comment on a user’s Weibo post.
The post was about Xiaomi’s revamped factory, which apparently is where the Mix Fold 3 will be assembled. The smartphone promises to be thinner and more durable than its predecessor. And it is also credited with Leica cameras.
Mix Fold 2 was released last August, so now is a good time to launch the successor. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 50W wireless charging and a selfie camera under the screen.
The bad news is that the rumored Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will only be sold in the Chinese market, just like the Mix Fold 2. For some reason, manufacturers from China are afraid to bring their foldable smartphones to the international market, even though they could compete with Samsung.
The news is that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be sold only in China.
