At CES 2025, Ultrahuman unveiled the world’s first series of luxury smart rings made from precious metals including 18k gold and platinum. The line is called Ultrahuman Rare and combines cutting-edge technology with exquisite design to create a unique offering in the wearable device market.

Luxurious materials and unique design

The Ultrahuman Rare series includes three models in precious metals:

  • Desert Rose and Dune are 18-karat gold rings certified by the London Bullion Market Association and branded by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
  • Desert Snow is a pt950 platinum ring, which means 95% platinum content.

These rings are 8mm wide, 2.45mm thick and water resistant to 100 meters.

Despite its premium design, the Ultrahuman Rare smart rings offer a wide range of health monitoring features:

  • Tracking sleep, stress level, movement activity.
  • Monitoring heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV) and skin temperature.
  • Integration with an app to analyze and provide additional health recommendations.

The rings are equipped with a 6-day battery life.

Availability and Cost

The Desert Collection models – Desert Rose, Dune and Desert Snow – are available from £1,500 ($1,873) to £1,800 ($2,247), comparable to buying a premium foldable smartphone.

The rings will initially be sold exclusively in select stores in London and Paris, and will soon be available in cities such as New York, Milan, Dubai and India.
