Apple is working on a more affordable Vision Pro headset

According to Mark Gurman, Apple plans to release a more affordable version of the Vision Pro headset, which will probably be available in 2025. That’s because the $3,499 price tag is obviously too steep, and the Vision Pro as a product is not intended for mass use.
The Gurman report claims that the company originally thought to delay the Vision Pro price announcement because of negative publicity, but chose to give everyone 9 months to get used to it.

On the other hand, the future headset, which will likely be called simply Vision or Vision One, will be aimed at mass adoption. Apple could use lower-quality screens, a less powerful chip, cut back on cameras, or require AirPods for the spatial audio feature.
On the other hand, the Apple giant will try to retain some basic features, such as the EyeSight external screen and hand tracking system.

The company is supposedly aiming for a release by 2025, while a second-generation Vision Pro is in development.
