The first smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip: Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are on sale now

The world’s first smartphones equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip started selling in China today. Xiaomi unveiled its flagships – the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro – earlier this week, and users can now purchase them in a variety of configurations and design options.

The Xiaomi 15 model offers more color options compared to the Pro version. It’s available in classic shades like Lilac Purple, Light Grass Green, Black and White, as well as the premium Bright Silver Edition.

For connoisseurs of exclusive solutions, Xiaomi offers a custom edition with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage in 20 unique colors, available only through the online Xiaomi Mall. It’s priced at 4,999 yuan (roughly $700).

Xiaomi 15 Pro: concise color choices
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is available in more subdued shades: dark green (Spruce Green), gray (Rock Grey) and white. A Bright Silver Edition version is also available for a small premium of 200 yuan ($28).

The Xiaomi 15 Pro starts at 5,299 yuan (about $742) for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at 5,799 yuan (about $812), while the top-end configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage will cost 6,499 yuan (about $910).
