ROG Phone 8 has received a beta version of Android 15

The months of waiting have finally come to an end for Android users. Android 15, the new version of Google’s operating system, is finally out after many delays. The first updates have started arriving on Google Pixel 9, Pixel 8, Pixel 7 and Pixel 6, and have also started to gradually roll out to devices from other manufacturers. For mobile gamers, this is great news. Asus, a well-known giant in the world of PC gaming, is releasing a line of gaming smartphones ROG Phone, and models ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro have become available to test out the new OS.

On the Asus ZenTalk Asus community manager announced the launch of Preview Program Android 15, which allows select users to test the updated operating system. Selected participants in the program must sign NDA (non-disclosure agreement) to avoid spreading information about the testing. To join the program, users need to go to System Update Menu in the phone’s settings, click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select “Enroll in Android preview Program”. After agreeing to the terms and conditions and creating an Asus account, program participants will be notified via email if they’re selected for testing.

ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro share the same basic specifications, but the latest Pro version offers increased RAM and storage, as well as unique customizable LED backlights. While the ROG Phone 8 Pro’s design has become more unified with other brands’ flagship devices, it’s still a great choice for gamers.
