Zhou Yibao revealed on social networking site Weibo that he has been using the Find X8 for a few months now. While he didn’t go into detail about «the hardware», he did reveal two software features of the Find X8 that he was particularly impressed with.

The solution from Oppo, dubbed “smart NFC card slicing” by Zhou, uses location technology to automatically switch between maps depending on where you are. So when you get close to your workplace, your phone automatically switches to the service access card, and you don’t have to do it manually.

The Oppo Find X8 series is expected to launch in mid-October, presumably on October 21 in China. The series is also expected to launch internationally, including the Indian market.
