Mail.ru Mail introduced a new service Notes

Users can use it to edit text, create lists, and use task-focus mode

Mail.ru is launching a beta version of the new Notes service. A number of users can already use the service for personal tasks and work, and Notes will be available for everyone in the near future.

Notes is fully integrated with Mail. As long as you have a Mail.ru account, you don’t need to sign in. You can access the new service from the top navigation bar of Mail.ru desktop services.

In Notes, you can format text and create numbered or bulleted lists. The special Focus mode allows you to concentrate on working on a document by opening a white page in front of you and not getting distracted by unnecessary elements in the interface.

In the near future, Notes’ functionality will expand greatly, the service will be personalized and integrated into email scripts. Users will be able to add pictures and attachments, as well as pin important notes, share important notes with colleagues and friends, and assign and share any category (studies, recipes, places). You can set the tone of your document by changing colors or adding emoji to it.

“Mail.ru mail has many scenarios where you interact with information, such as writing plain text and getting comments on it from other people, or saving the information in the email for later. We’re working to improve routine tasks and offer a set of tools to handle information more efficiently, both independently and collaboratively,” said Sergey Zelenov, Mail.ru Product Line Head.
