Yandex has revealed the new “Station Lite 2”

So Yandex decided to update it and released the Station Light 2. The company says the column is primarily aimed at “children and those who don’t stop being children”. And there are quite a few changes.
The first thing that catches the eye is the rounded design. It makes the speaker look even cuter. The sound quality hasn’t been compromised, and it’s even improved. The speakers are louder and clearer, with 5-6 watts of power. It also adds the ability to memorize multiple Wi-Fi networks so you can automatically switch between them without wasting time.
Of course the new station will feature Alice. Where would we be without her? But now it’s not just Alice, it’s YandexGPT neural network. So the voice assistant can better understand the context of a conversation and can even recognize your mood. In addition, Alice herself has emotions – she can be surprised, encourage you, enthusiastically tell you something. And LED-screen will show these emotions. For example, when Alice smiles, winks, or gets embarrassed.
Light 2, like all other Yandex stations, will have several colors: pink, blue, purple, dark gray, green and orange. the first three colors will be available immediately, while the other three will be available a little later. In Russia and Belarus you can buy the speaker from August 20, in Kazakhstan – from August 23, 2024. The price is 5,990 rubles. Also by the end of the year Yandex promised to show a portable battery for the station. So very soon you can take the Light 2 with you wherever you go.
