Dynabook has announced Tecra A60-M and A40-M laptops with antimicrobial coating

Dynabook has introduced two laptops with 14-inch and 16-inch displays. They feature Intel Core Ultra processors and support touch input and Microsoft Copilot. The 16-inch notebook was the company’s first laptop of that size with a full-size keyboard.

The Tecra A60-M has a 16:10 aspect ratio touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The laptop offers a choice of different processors, 8GB to 64GB of RAM (DDR5), and 256GB to 2TB of storage (PCIe NVMe SSD). Autonomy is provided by a 65-watt battery. There’s also a dTPM 2.0 module, fingerprint scanner, smart card reader or face scanner, Thunderbolt 4 port, USB Type-A, HDMI and a memory card slot. Specifications include Wi-Fi 6E, antimicrobial case coating, and MIL-STD-810H protection.

The Tecra A40-M has a 14-inch screen with the same resolution as the older model. The rest of the specs, including battery capacity, are the same. Both meet the MIL-STD-810H ruggedness standard, and the metal body is treated with an antimicrobial coating.
