An inexpensive console with PS2 emulation and 1:1 screen is announced – Anbernic RG Cube

The Anbernic brand has announced a new product called RG Cube, specializing in portable devices and supporting emulation of old consoles. The model features an original design and a rare 1:1 screen aspect ratio.
Anbernic has announced a new RG Cube that specializes in portable devices and supports emulation of old consoles.
Anbernic RG Cube features a 3.95-inch square IPS screen with a resolution of 750×750 pixels. Performance is provided by a Unisoc Tiger T820 processor (Mali-G57MP4 GPU), 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on Android 13.
The device is capable of emulating the Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, GameCube and PlayStation 2, as well as supporting Android games and streaming from PC, Playstation and Xbox.
The 5200mAh battery provides up to 7 hours of battery life. There’s Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, active cooling system, gyroscope, Hall sensor, audio output and speakers.
RG Cube is available in white, pink and beige colors with red accents. A launch date and price will be announced at a later date, but the device is rumored to cost around $100 (RUB 8,925).
