ONYX has introduced in Russia a low-cost touch screen reader – BOOX Bering 4

ONYX has launched its new BOOX Bering 4 e-book in Russia, making it the brand’s most affordable model yet. The device features a touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Android-based firmware, which allows you to install apps.

BOOX Bering 4 has a 6-inch E-Ink Carta touchscreen display with 600×800 pixels and 16 grayscale support. It also features MOON Light backlighting and SNOW Field technology, which reduces artifacts when the screen refreshes. The reader is equipped with a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The built-in memory is 32GB and can be expanded with a microSD card. The device also supports USB flash drives via OTG.
Books can be downloaded via Bluetooth 5.0 or Wi-Fi. The device comes preloaded with the RuStore app store. The reader’s autonomy is ensured by a 3,000mAh battery that allows for several weeks of use. Other features include a microphone and headphone jack.
