New details about Sony’s flagship Xperia 1 VI smartphone have surfaced online
By ForGeeks Ahead of the upcoming announcement, new details about Sony’s flagship Xperia 1 VI smartphone have surfaced online. HT Felix’s source has revealed key features of the device’s camera.
According to the report, the triple rear camera will consist of a 48-megapixel Sony LYT800 main sensor (24mm, 1/1.4″), a 50MP Sony LYT600 ultra-wide-angle sensor (16mm, 1/2″) and a 50MP Sony LYT500 TV (85 – 170mm). The use of Zeiss T* anti-reflective lens coatings is also mentioned. It’s unclear why Sony didn’t opt for Sony’s top-of-the-line LYT-900 inch sensor, which is used in some Chinese camera phones.

The smartphone should also get an OLED screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1.5 times the brightness of the previous model. The Sony Xperia 1 VI is scheduled to be unveiled on May 15.
