The first server based on Intel Xeon processors of the new generation was presented in Russia – Delta Serval

Russian company Delta Computers, specializing in the development and production of IT equipment, has introduced the first Delta Serval server in Russia, based on Intel Xeon Scalable processors of the 4th and 5th generations – Sapphire Rapids and Emerald Rapids. According to the company’s representatives, the server is built on a unique OSR architecture and advanced chips that have no analogues in the Russian market yet.
Delta Serval, like other Delta Computers products, is designed in accordance with the Open Compute Project (OCP) concept. Open Rack standards provide high density and allow more servers to be installed in a single rack. Up to 256 processor cores can be accommodated in two standard mounting units. The server supports PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 RAM up to 5600 MT/s.
Delta Computers uses its own Delta BIOS and Delta BMC firmware in its server products. Both solutions are included in the register of the Ministry of Digitalization of the Russian Federation, and Delta BMC is certified by the FSTEC for compliance with the requirements of the 4th level of trust.
Delta Serval can be used in the most resource-intensive processes such as large databases, artificial intelligence and scalable supercomputing.
