Motorola has launched a new flagship line of Edge 50 smartphones

Motorola has unveiled its new Edge 50 line of flagship smartphones, which includes three models: the Ultra, Pro and Fusion. All three devices feature curved pOLED screens and support artificial intelligence features.

The Edge 50 Ultra smartphone features a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 2500 nits. The processor is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which works with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The inbuilt storage is either 512GB or 1TB. The 4,500mAh battery offers long-lasting battery life and supports 125W wireless fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphone’s main camera features a 50-megapixel sensor, f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. There is also a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP front-facing camera. All cameras support 4K shooting at 60fps and have various artificial intelligence features to improve photo quality and stabilization.

Other features of the Edge 50 Ultra include USB Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, eSIM, UWB and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The body of the device is IP68 water and dust resistant. One version of the smartphone has a back cover that resembles wood both externally and tactilely.
The Edge 50 Pro features a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Edge 50 Fusion uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, lacks a telecam and wireless charging support. Both smartphones are also water-resistant to IP68.
The Edge 50 Ultra starts at €999 (99 800 rubles), the Edge 50 Pro — from €699 (69 850 rubles), and the Edge 50 Fusion — from €399 (39 870 rubles).
