The processor’s power consumption at peak times is almost 410W and the temperature exceeds 100 degrees Celsius. Additional overclocking of the Core i9-14900KS is likely to require a more extreme approach to cooling, as the chip will be subject to a rigorous selection process, and the new product is likely to attract the attention of enthusiasts who will try to set new overclocking records with it. It is assumed that from Core i9-14900KS we can expect a slightly higher overclocking performance, possibly up to 9.5 or even 10 GHz. The price of the Core i9-14900KS is unknown, but it’s expected to be about the same as the Core i9-13900KS.
