The lineup includes three models of laser monochrome MFPs and two models of A4 laser monochrome printers with wireless connectivity and color scanning. The new devices are based on the American Lexmark MX-431 MFP, which was acquired by Fplus in August 2022 as part of its Russian business expansion.

The main consumers of Fplus devices will be public sector organizations and large corporations, which is due to the company’s guidelines and the requirements of the legislation on the priority of domestic products in public procurement. Development of its own design documentation will allow the company to enter its products into the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and obtain the status of domestic products.

Experts point out that the Russian printer market has shrunk to 1.8 million devices in 2023, down from 3 million in 2019. The leaders of the sector have also changed: the Chinese company Pantum is now in first place, while previously the leaders were HP, Japanese Kyocera and Canon, as well as Xerox and Brother. Russian brand Katusha, which manufactures its products in China, took sixth place.
