The creators say the device will help users get rid of the useless consumption of time on social media and focus on the real world. The built-in Android-based MnmlOS operating system supports only the most essential features for everyday use. Standard features include a notes app, calendar, planner, weather widget and Uber cab hailing app.

The MnmlOS operating system is based on Android.

The “anti-smartphone” will feature a square E-Ink touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard, a Wi-Fi module and a 4,000 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, a single charge will be enough for four days of battery life, and a full battery charge will take just one hour.

An anti-smartphone will have a four-day battery life.
