Vivo launched vivo G2 smartphone with 90Hz screen and Dimensity processor

Vivo has launched the first smartphone in its new branded series called vivo G2. It features a recognizable design and a balanced hardware for all your daily tasks, as well as a screen with a higher refresh rate for a smooth content display.

The gadget gets a 6.56-inch IPS screen, with a resolution of 1612×720 pixels and a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone’s performance is aided by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, coupled with LPDDR4X RAM (4, 6 or 8 GB) and UFS 2.2 storage (128 or 256 GB). It is possible to expand the internal memory via microSD cards.
The vivo G2’s rear camera module includes a main 13-megapixel sensor, complemented by a secondary sensor (resolution unspecified) and LED flash, while there’s a 5-megapixel front-facing unit for selfies and video calls. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 15W fast charging. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The vivo G2 smartphone costs $167 (RUB 14,800) for the 4/128GB version, while the available 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB configurations sell for prices of $210 (RUB 18,600), $225 (RUB 19,900), and $265 (RUB 23,500), respectively.
