CES 2024: FiiO CP13 Cassette Retro Player Unveiled

Although it’s not the most popular device these days, it evokes nostalgic memories of the classic Sony Walkman released in 1979. Taking inspiration from this legendary device, FiiO has created a modern version of the cassette player.

The FiiO CP13 has a minimalist design. It has physical buttons to control rewind and audio volume, and of course it has a standard 3.5mm audio jack so that you can plug in headphones.
The device charges via USB-C and has a battery life of up to 15 hours on a single charge. The CP13 cassette player will be available to buy from early March at a price of £129 (RUB 14,500).

In addition, FiiO previously unveiled a Bluetooth cassette player that allows you to “resurrect” old tape players. The gadget connects to your smartphone like wireless headphones, and then the cassette itself can be inserted into any tape recorder or player, regardless of model or year. The cassette will transfer the music to any device, thus allowing you to enjoy your favorite tracks through your old devices.
