Sony’s DualSense V2 controller will last 2 times longer

The Sony DualSense V2 controller has appeared on Best Buy Canada’s official website with images and specs. And while the images don’t show any design changes, the specs suggest a significant improvement in battery life.
Sony DualSense V2 controller is now available on the Canadian Best Buy website.

According to the specs above, the DualSense V2 has a battery life of 12 hours compared to the 6-hour battery life of the current generation DualSense controllers.
The rest of the feature set remains unchanged — built-in microphone, tactile triggers, headphone jack, touchpad. The price is $67 ($87 CAD) — the same price as the current controller.
The DualSense controller is the same as the current controller.



There’s no exact release date for the updated controllers yet, but it’s unlikely we’ll be waiting too long.
