AyaNeo Flip and Win Mini – first gaming consoles with Ryzen 8000 processors

AyaNeo and GPD have become the first gadget makers to unveil portable devices powered by AMD Ryzen 8000 processors. Both manufacturers have confirmed the availability of these new CPUs in their upcoming handheld consoles and hinted at a near-term release of the devices.

The AyaNeo Flip gaming console will be presented in a laptop form factor and will be available in two variations: with a QWERTY keyboard or with a small additional display instead. Depending on the configuration, it will be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U or Ryzen 7 8840U processor.
On the other hand, GPD is also preparing to release its Win Mini handheld console based on similar chips. The renders show that the device will also feature a keyboard and built-in gamepad elements.

The official presentation date of both new products is still unknown. According to online sources, GPD Win Mini is expected to go on sale in January, while AyaNeo Flip is scheduled for release in early 2024.
