NIO ET9 is a flagship electric car with very fast charging capabilities

Chinese company NIO has unveiled its latest premium electric sedan, the ET9. The car, which has two engines, develops 707 horsepower. The car is distinguished by fast charging and a number of exclusive features.

The NIO ET9 has dimensions of 5,325x2016x1,620 mm and a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. The battery capacity is 120 kWh and the charging speed is 600 kW. According to the manufacturer, the device will be able to travel 255 kilometers in five minutes. Moreover, express battery replacement at a special station is supported – you don’t even need to get out of the car for this, and the replacement time is three minutes. The car is equipped with a proprietary multimedia system based on a 5-nanometer, 32-core NX9031 processor. SkyOS is used as the operating system. Rear passengers have access to two 14.5-inch screens, a folding table, a refrigerator, and foot rests. The seat backs also have the ability to adjust the slope up to a 45-degree angle.

The ET9 has an active hydraulic suspension with up to 10cm of height adjustment. Better handling is provided by a thrustable rear axle and an active spoiler. The car also features three lidars and cameras instead of mirrors. The company is emphasizing rear passenger comfort by offering first-time buyers 100 free hours of driver service from NIO.
