Lenovo unveiled 120Hz IPS monitor with USB-C and ergonomic stand

Lenovo has announced a new ThinkVision T24-40 monitor, a 23.8-inch model with a 120Hz refresh rate, IPS matrix, and extensive connectivity options. The device is aimed at office users, designers, and anyone who appreciates comfort when working at a computer.

Sharp image and eye comfort

ThinkVision T24-40 features a Full HD (1920×1080) IPS matrix with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time (GtG), making the interface smooth even when scrolling or working with graphics. Contrast is 1500:1 and brightness is 250 nits.

The monitor covers 99% of the sRGB and BT.709 color spaces, making it suitable for content where color reproduction is important. Eye protection is comprehensive, with TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, Eyesafe 2.0 technology and hardware blue light filtering. Anti-reflective coating helps you work even in bright light.

Universal interfaces and USB hub

  • HDMI 1.4
  • DisplayPort 1.2
  • VGA – for connection to legacy systems
  • USB-C (15W, data only)
  • Three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • USB-B for connecting the hub to a PC

The built-in USB hub allows you to connect peripherals directly to the monitor and frees up connectors on the system unit – especially useful in work scenarios.

Ergonomics and controls

  • Height adjustment up to 155 mm
  • Tilt from -5° to 23.5°
  • Rotation by ±45°
  • Rotate to portrait mode by ±90°
  • Compatible with VESA 100×100 mm mounts

The monitor weighs 5.1 kg with stand and 3.0 kg without it. The OSD joystick is used for quick access to settings. Lenovo ThinkColour proprietary software for fine-tuning the image is also supported.

Affordable price and alternative from competitors

The ThinkVision T24-40 costs 1,099 yuan (about $150) at launch in China, making it a very affordable solution for home and office.

By the way, competitors aren’t lagging behind either. Titan Army recently introduced a 320Hz gaming model with high color accuracy for just $115, and AOC has released a 27-inch Fast IPS monitor with 2K resolution, 260Hz, 1ms response, and HDR400 certification.

AOC’s 27-inch Fast IPS monitor has a 2K resolution, 260Hz, 1ms response, and HDR400 certification.
