Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the ,800 Beosound Premiere premium sound bar

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled a new luxury speaker system — the Beosound Premiere sound bar made of aluminum. The price of the novelty is 5800 dollars.

The sound bar is striking in its appearance: the manufacturer calls it «a work of art». The aluminum enclosure looks solid and has an elegant matte satin finish. In the center is an upward-facing tweeter that draws the eye, and there are numerous illuminations placed throughout the panel. Special attention to detail &#8212 the cabinet is decorated with 1925 unique perforations, a reference to the year of the company’s founding.

«It’s not just a product, it’s a carefully crafted experience» —Bang & Olufsen said in a statement. «Beosound Premiere redefines the very notion of a sound bar».

Ten individually designed drivers are installed inside the unit, providing spatial sound by directing sound upward. This allows «the sound to unfold around the listener from all sides» enhancing dialog clarity and providing deep, powerful bass. Beosound Premiere supports Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 and can be paired with other Bang & Olufsen speakers via proprietary Beolink Surround technology.

The sound bar also features the new patent-pending Wide Stage technology. It uses a specially designed algorithm to create the illusion of additional speakers, making the soundstage appear wider and higher. This makes for the most immersive listening experience possible.
