LG will unveil LG Sound Suite audio system with flexible Dolby Atmos at CES 2026
LG Electronics announced the launch of the LG Sound Suite at CES 2026. It is a wireless home audio system designed to make setting up surround sound easier and much more flexible. At the center of the system is the H7 soundbar — the world’s first soundbar to support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology. This allows Dolby Atmos sound to automatically adapt to the layout of the room without the need to strictly place speakers in specific locations or go through a complicated setup procedure.
LG Sound Suite is designed to work with LG’s premium TVs. Users can freely combine wireless components, including the M7 and M5 rear speakers and W7 subwoofer, with or without the H7 soundbar. A total of 27 system configuration options are available. You can start with a minimal set and gradually expand to a full 13.1.7 home theater format. When using the H7 as the centerpiece, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect works with any TV via HDMI. LG will also add support for the technology to its 2026 premium TVs and some 2025 models via a software update.
The system takes into account today’s home viewing scenarios. Streaming services are actively offering movies, TV series and sports broadcasts with support for Dolby Atmos and other high-quality audio formats, so the demand for enhanced home audio is growing. LG Sound Suite combines the convenience of wireless connectivity with the full effect of true surround sound. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support makes it easy to pair with content sources and streaming devices.
LG has also incorporated proprietary audio technologies for more fine-tuning. The Sound Follow feature uses ultra-wideband communication to detect the listener’s position and shift the optimal sound point based on where you’re sitting. Combined with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, this ensures quality sound from anywhere in the room. Room Calibration Pro technology analyzes room acoustics and uses AI to automatically adjust the sound for even and balanced playback.

The H7 soundbar is powered by LG’s α11 AI Processor Gen 3 — the same chip used in the company’s flagship OLED TVs. It leverages deep learning algorithms and a neural processor to run AI Sound Pro+ technology, which converts stereo sound into multi-channel surround sound. AI object separation makes speech, music and sound effects clearer and more distinguishable, and the system automatically adjusts the sound to the type of content you’re watching.
All LG Sound Suite components utilize Peerless speakers — a brand with more than a century of history in audio engineering. LG Sound Suite will be showcased at CES 2026, which takes place January 6-9. There, the company will also show its latest Micro RGB evo TVs, featuring a new Micro RGB backlighting system based on ultra-small, individual RGB LEDs.
