Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 has received an update to One UI 8

Samsung is finalizing the rollout of the One UI 8.0 update for supported smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy Tab A11 tablet is the next device to receive the fresh version of the proprietary shell. It’s the first major update for a model that was unveiled just two months ago.
The update is the first major update to be rolled out to the Galaxy Tab A11 tablet.
Galaxy Tab A11 has started receiving One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 in South Korea. The update comes out as X133DXU1BYK3 for the Wi-Fi version and X135NKOU1BYK3 for the Wi-Fi and cellular-enabled model. The firmware also includes the October 2025 security patch. To check if the update is available, you’ll need to open «Settings», select «Software Update» and click «Download and Install» then confirm the installation.
The Galaxy Tab A11 was equipped with One UI 7.0 at launch, and Samsung promised seven major Android updates for it. One UI 8.0 —s the first of them.
The update brings a Brief (2×2) widget to the tablet with a choice of landscape or portrait orientation, dynamic wallpaper and new gradient design options. The Now Bar gets stock tracking, and Quick Share now opens full screen and is divided into «Send» and «Receive» tabs.
Samsung Notes now supports «sticky» notes. The «My Files» app shows the file path and makes it easier to find downloaded documents. Samsung Internet has a new menu.
Multitasking in split-screen mode has been improved — you can now use a 90:10 ratio. DeX mode has received a major update based on Android 16’s desktop mode. Secure Folder is made safer with the introduction of Private Space technology from Android 15.
Batch management of alarms, calendar events, and reminders has also been improved. Bluetooth LE Auracast-based audio broadcasts have been improved. Users can choose whether to show or hide notification content on the lock screen. The «Weather» app has received improved graphics.
