iQOO unveiled the Pad 5e tablet with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 144Hz screen
By ForGeeks The iQOO company has officially launched the new iQOO Pad 5e tablet in China. The novelty offers flagship performance and a quality display at a relatively affordable price. The tablet features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 12.05-inch LCD display with 2.8K resolution, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and 240Hz sensor response. It features DC Dimming to reduce screen flicker for a comfortable user experience. Depending on configuration, the device is available with 8, 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of onboard UFS storage. The tablet runs Android 15 with OriginOS 5, a proprietary tablet-adapted shell. For productivity, the iQOO Pad 5e supports continuous laptop connectivity and PC-level features, including WPS Office tools. A 32,200 mm² cooling system prevents overheating during intensive tasks. An 8-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera are available for photos and video calls. The iQOO Pad 5e supports uninterrupted notebook connectivity and PC-level features, including WPS Office tools. The tablet measures 266.43 × 192 × 6.62 mm and weighs — 584 grams. The device features four speakers, USB Type-C audio support, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. A 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support is responsible for battery life. The price of the iQOO Pad 5e in China starts at 1,999 yuan (about $275) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Modifications are also available: 8+256GB for 2,299 yuan, 12+256GB for 2,599 yuan, and 16+512GB for 2,999 yuan. It’s not yet known if the company plans to release the device outside of China.
