Redmi 12 officially launched
By ForGeeks Xiaomi announced the launch of its new smartphone called the Redmi 12. It features a 6.79-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In the notch of the screen is the front camera, which shoots at a resolution of 8 megapixels. On the back is a 50MP main module, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and a 2MP macro lens.
The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which works in alliance with 4/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of flash memory. The internal memory can be increased with a microSD card. As the OS on the smartphone is the MIUI 14 shell based on Android 13. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 5000 mAh. There is support for fast charging with 18W.

Redmi 12 is available in Midnight Black, Sky Blue and Polar Silver colors. The price starts at $153. For now, the smartphone is only available in Thailand, but there will soon be a global launch.
