New Realme RMX3942 smartphone has passed certification, key specifications revealed

Last week, Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA approved a new Realme smartphone with model number RMX3942. While TENAA has revealed almost all the specifications of the device, images of the smartphone have only recently surfaced. The final name of the model is still unknown, but there is already information about some key features.

Design and Display

Realme RMX3942 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a front-facing camera in a hole in the screen. On the back, there are two round camera modules and the Realme logo. On the right side are the volume and power buttons, the latter of which also acts as a fingerprint scanner.

Cameras and Battery

The front panel houses an 8MP selfie camera, while the main camera on the back is represented by a 50MP sensor with LED flash support. 5G is supported, making it an attractive option for users looking for an affordable device with fifth-generation network connectivity.

The smartphone features a 2.3GHz processor and a 5,465 mAh battery (nominal). It’s also expected to support 45-watt charging.

Unknown RMX3953 and possible series

Interestingly, 3C’s certification also confirms the existence of another device with model number RMX3953, which will also support 45-watt charging. However, no information on its specifications is available at this time.

It’s likely that the RMX3942 will be part of the Realme 14 series or the V-series aimed at the Chinese market, though exact details have yet to be confirmed.
