Honor has unveiled the budget smartphone X6b Plus
Honor has launched a new low-cost smartphone called Honor X6b Plus. The device belongs to the budget segment and is likely to remain exclusive to the Asian region. The smartphone weighs 192 grams, is 8.39mm thick, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor that offers basic performance and support for 4G networks only.

Honor X6b Plus features a 6.56-inch drop-cut TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1612 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of 90Hz, peak brightness of 780 nits, and displays 16.7 million colors. There’s also an Always-On Display feature for showing the time and notifications.

The smartphone runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Helio G85 processor includes eight cores (two Cortex-A75 up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 up to 1.8GHz) and Mali-G52 MC2 graphics.
The device’s main camera is a 50-megapixel module (f/1.8), complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4) and a secondary lens. 1080p video recording at 30fps, 10x digital zoom and shooting modes including portrait, panorama, timelapse and HDR are supported. The 5 MP (f/2.2) front camera is for selfies and features beauty, bokeh, and auto-smile.

Honor X6b Plus gets a 5,100mAh battery with 35W SuperCharge (11V/3.2A) fast charging support. Among the communications — dual SIM card slot (4G LTE), Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack and OTG support.

The smartphone has passed the SGS drop protection certification and is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, light and proximity sensors. It comes with a protective case, pre-installed film, charger and USB cable.
