Fairphone devices are known for their high repairability, and the sixth model will continue this concept. The back panel and battery will be attached with screws rather than glue, making them much easier to remove and replace. The user will be able to easily change the look of the device by simply replacing the back panel with another one in a different color. According to WinFuture, the smartphone will get a 6.31-inch P-OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, 8/256GB memory configuration, a 4,415mAh battery with 33W charging support, and an IP55 protected body.
Fairphone 6 will be available in black, white and green variants. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled on June 25.
