Wildberries has started compensating for the cost of an item if it’s switched

“Starting October 16, the online platform began refunding sellers if their goods were tampered with by someone. The platform’s partners will not have to take any action to do so.”— according to the telegram channel of the Wildberries press service.

Wildberries employees themselves will collect information at any of the stages of product movement.
The seller will be refunded the full value of the item at the current price on the day the substitution was discovered, but excluding the loyalty discount and less commission. This amount will be recorded in the financial statement as “compensation for substituted goods”. As for the item specifically, it will not be returned to the seller, but the money will be credited to the account within 30 days of the discovery of the substitution. This period is necessary for a thorough investigation by Wildberries specialists.
