Spotify launches “Listening Stats” feature with weekly summary of user activity
Spotify has introduced a new feature called «Listening Stats» that allows users to track their activity on the app and receive weekly reports on their music and podcast listening.
The feature has already begun rolling out to users of the free and paid versions of the service. «Listening Stats» appears in the side menu and is a mini version of the popular annual «Wrapped» feature. Users will be able to see how much time they spent in the app, which artists they listened to most often, as well as receive a weekly «special event» — personalized highlight of the week.

The feature is available in more than 60 countries and shows favorite artists and tracks from the past four weeks, according to Spotify. The app also offers automatically generated playlists based on a user’s preferences, as well as a selection of new songs they might like.
Additionally, the app also offers a selection of new songs that a user might like.
Each week a personalized highlight appears in «Listening Stats» whether it’s a musical discovery, reaching a certain milestone or «fan moment». All of the data will be easily shared on social media or via messengers, just like the annual «Spotify Wrapped».
To open «Listening Stats», you’ll need to go to your profile and select the appropriate section. The feature is already available on Android and iOS devices, but it may be activated gradually for users.
