Ozon has started selling cars
By ForGeeks Ozon has launched car sales in Moscow and the Moscow region. The opening was announced by a representative of the company. This section is already available for use on the website. The first company to enter into cooperation was Deliveri Car, which sells Chery cars. At the moment the company is responsible for warranty and service maintenance. Ozon will continue cooperation with other car dealers in the future.
At the moment, the catalog presents 27 models of Chery cars, with prices from 2.2 million to 4.7 million, excluding discounts. So far, they are only available for purchase in Moscow and the Moscow region. If you place an order on September 27, the car is promised to be delivered by October 1.
The marketplace already tried to start selling cars in 2020, but at that time buyers could only book the product and payment was made at a car dealership. Now, however, payment can be made directly through a personal account on the app or website. The platform has no plans to offer credit.
After the car is delivered, the buyer will receive a set of documents including the sale and purchase agreement, acceptance certificate, electronic vehicle registration certificate and a copy of the power of attorney to sign. After that, the buyer must go to the State Automobile Inspection Service to register the car.
