Samsung officially announced the Exynos 2600 chipset

After a series of major leaks, Samsung has officially confirmed the existence and imminent release of the Exynos 2600. The flagship processor will be unveiled before the release of the Galaxy S26 lineup, and a short video teaser gave a first look at the company’s next-generation chipset.

In the video, Samsung actually acknowledges the weaknesses of past Exynos. The video begins with the words «in silence we listened» before focusing on improvements such as «improved in the core» and «optimized at every level». This hints at a deep overhaul of the architecture.

Exynos 2600 is expected to be the first 2-nanometer smartphone chip on the market. Early tests show it can compete with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, making it the most promising Exynos in recent years.

The Exynos 2600 is expected to be the first 2-nanometer chip for smartphones.

Sources say the processor will debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series, but as before, not in all regions.
