TCL showed a flexible monitor that can become curved
By ForGeeks At ChinaJoy 2024 exhibition TCL showed an innovative monitor with flexible miniLED screen. The unique feature of this monitor is the ability to switch between flat and curved screen (radius of bending 1000R) at the touch of a button.
The monitor features a large 34-inch screen with a high refresh rate of 165Hz and bright mini-LED backlighting. The electrically driven mechanism automatically changes the tilt angle of the monitor. A similar design was previously used in the 42-inch LG OLED Flex and the 45-inch Corsair Xeneon Flex.

TCL also unveiled a concept model of a 49-inch display with a similar design. The new product is positioned as a mass production-ready model. A sales launch date and price will be announced at a later date.
Besides the flexible monitor, TCL unveiled several other models. Among them:
- a curved 105-inch monitor with 5K resolution, 3000R radius of curvature and 120Hz refresh rate;
- 27-inch monitor with 8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and IGZO HFS matrix;
Information about the start of sales of these models has not yet been disclosed.
