Sennheiser has launched SoundProtex Plus earplugs with three levels of noise reduction
Sennheiser has introduced new SoundProtex Plus earplugs designed to protect hearing in high noise environments — concerts, festivals, traveling and other loud places. The manufacturer emphasizes that the device reduces volume while maintaining sound quality and detail.
The SoundProtex Plus costs about $34. It comes with three types of acoustic filters with varying degrees of attenuation (low, medium, and high), a full blocking filter, three sizes of ear cushions (S, M, L), and a branded carrying case.
Sennheiser says it uses proprietary membrane filters that provide an even attenuation characteristic and maintain sound clarity without muffling or distortion. The filters are designed for different noise levels:- High — SNR 20 dB, suitable for loud concerts and motorsports- Medium — SNR 17 dB, optimal for travel and workspaces- Low — SNR 10 dB, designed for quieter environments- Full Block completely blocks out sound and is suitable for sleeping, lounging or swimming

The earplugs are made of soft medical-grade TPE. The material is safe for the skin, free of plasticizers, suitable for long-term use and prevents the feeling of stuffiness thanks to its ventilated design. The earplugs weigh between 1.1 and 1.6 grams depending on the size.
SoundProtex Plus can be washed and cleaned after use. The supplied compact pouch helps to conveniently store the earplugs and take them with you to events, on trips or for everyday use.
