Dell has unveiled its first non-gaming OLED monitor

Dell has officially announced the S3225QC monitor for the Chinese market, the brand’s first OLED display outside of its gamer lineup. The new product is already priced at 6,499 yuan (about $888). The device was first introduced for the global market earlier this year and is positioned as an all-in-one solution for entertainment, content and casual gaming.
The S3225QC monitor sports a curved 31.6-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K) and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses Samsung’s QD-OLED technology that delivers deep blacks and rich color reproduction. Brightness reaches 1000 nits and contrast ratio is considered “infinite” thanks to self-emitting pixels. The monitor covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and is factory calibrated to Delta E < 2.

Despite its non-gamer focus, the S3225QC delivers high performance with a 120Hz refresh rate and a response time of just 0.03ms (GTG). AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support helps eliminate frame splits during gaming. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision certifications are also present for a better visual experience.
One of the monitor’s key features is the built-in audio system, with five 5W speakers and intelligent spatial sound with 3D effects. Head-tracking technology lets you dynamically adjust the soundstage to mimic 7.1 sound. External speakers are no longer required.
The monitor has a full set of modern ports: USB-C with Power Delivery up to 90W, two additional USB-C ports (15W each), and HDMI 2.1 on the side. One of the USB-C ports is retractable, and the hidden hub simplifies access and maintains an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The ergonomic stand supports height, tilt, swivel, and rotation adjustments.
To reduce eye strain, ComfortView Plus technology and TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification provide hardware-level blue light protection without color distortion. The monitor enclosure is made with recycled plastic, aluminum, and glass.
