Casio has released a watch of G-Shock series – Nano DWN-5600

Casio has unveiled the most extraordinary model in the history of the G-Shock line — the Nano DWN-5600. It’s a ten times smaller replica of the famous DW-5600, while retaining key features such as shock resistance, water resistance to 200 meters and a full range of functions.

The device weighs just 6 grams and measures 23.4x20x7.5mm. Despite its miniaturization, the G-Shock Nano has a full LCD display and supports standard features such as stopwatch, second time zone display, automatic calendar and alarm indicator.
Control is via three buttons on the side panel, and the backlight is activated with a single touch. Casio positions the Nano as the most compact, shock-resistant watch the company has ever made, with ultra-dense electronics inside and a miniaturized battery that provides two years of battery life.

The case and strap are made of recycled resin, and the strap length is adjustable to fit around your finger from 48mm to 82mm. It comes with an exclusive silicone stand for collectors.
The model will be available in three color options: black, red and yellow. The G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in November at a guide price of 14,300 yen (about $95 or 7,700 rubles), with an international release expected in the coming weeks.
