Spider-Noir: the noir Peter Parker series will be released in 2026

At Amazon’s annual presentation, the studio revealed the first footage of Nicholas Cage as Spider-Man from the dystopian universe of Spider-Noir -a new live-action series to be released on Prime Video and MGM Plus in 2026.
Who is Spider-Noir?
Spider-Noir is an alternate version of Peter Parker, living in 1930s New York City at the height of the Great Depression. In the original 2009 Marvel Noir comic, the hero appears as a private detective who gains powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Instead of a red and blue suit, he wears a black leather jacket, fedora and scarf. This dark image has already appeared on the big screen in the animated hit “Spider-Man: Across Universes” (2018), where the character was also voiced by Cage.
In the upcoming series Cage returns to the role, but now in a full live-action incarnation of the character.
