Mikkelsen has collaborated with Danish director Thomas Vinterberg, winning the Cannes Film Festival’s Best Actor award for his role in “The Hunt.” Mikkelsen also co-starred in Vinterberg’s comedy drama One More at a Time; the film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. For his role as Hannibal Lecter in the TV series Hannibal, Mikkelsen was honored with the Saturn Award for Best Actor in Television. He has more than 50 awards at various movie premieres and festivals. In the world of video games, he voiced and played the character of Clifford Unger in Death Stranding and starred in Rihanna’s music video for the song Bitch Better Have My Money.
Comic Con Astana will be held in the capital of Kazakhstan from July 25 to 28 at the EXPO. The festival program includes — meetings and autograph sessions, premieres, special screenings, cosplay shows, musical performances and dance groups. International studios will present interactive and entertaining booths. The show program will include a cosplay contest with a prize fund of 12,000,000 tenge, in which cosplayers from 14 countries will take part.
An exclusive SuperCard payment card from Freedom Bank featuring DC and “Rick and Morty” designs will be unveiled at the festival. Festival partners, Hobby Games and MARWIN family shop, will also be participating in the event, presenting their themed zones and hosting tournaments.
