TCL has launched the Thunderbird Q9 34″ QD-Mini LED gaming monitor

TCL has unveiled the new Thunderbird Q9 gaming monitor with a curved 34-inch panel in China. The device is available now on JD.com for 3,999 yuan ($560), and for first-time buyers, a mechanical holder is added to the package.
The monitor features a 3440 × 1440 (WQHD) resolution screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 1500R curvature. It uses a CSOT Apex Fast HVA panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time. AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync technologies are supported for smooth gameplay.
The backlighting is based on Mini LED with 2,304 zones of local dimming, providing a static contrast ratio of 4000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The maximum brightness reaches 1600 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified. Color reproduction covers 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, and calibration is accurate to ΔE<2.
The monitor has received TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection (low blue light and flicker-free).
