MSI has launched the premium MAG 272UP QD-OLED X24 monitor

MSI has officially unveiled a new flagship gamer monitor in China, the MAG 272UP QD-OLED X24. The new product is already available on JD.com at a price of 5,599 yuan (roughly $776).

The monitor features Samsung’s 26.5-inch fourth-generation QD-OLED panel with 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. This makes it attractive to both cyber athletes and content creators. Pixel density is 166 PPI and brightness is up to 1,000 nits (at 3% APL) with a typical level of 450 nits. There’s also DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1.

TheMAG 272UP offers a 0.03ms GtG response time and supports Adaptive Sync and G-Sync Compatible, eliminating artifacts and image tearing. For professionals, the monitor offers 10-bit color depth and coverage: 99% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB and 138% sRGB, factory calibrated (Delta E ≤2).

The built-in OLED Care 2.0 system helps prevent burn-in by incorporating pixel shift, matrix refresh, auto-brightness, and ambient light sensor. Other gaming features include dynamic aiming, shadow enhancement, and digital zoom.

The monitor features an ultra-thin profile (just 4.7mm) and a dragon-engraved back panel design. The stand is adjustable for height (up to 110mm), tilt (-5°~20°), swivel (-30°~30°) and rotation (up to 90°). There is support for VESA 100×100 mount.

On board: 2× HDMI 2.1 (4K@240Hz), DisplayPort 1.4a, USB-C (DP Alt Mode + 15W charging) and headphone output. The monitor is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and support for DC Dimming.

Simultaneously, AOC introduced the Q27G4K, a 27-inch 400Hz Fast IPS monitor. Lenovo released a 120Hz IPS model for productivity with USB-C.
