Lenovo unveiled the powerful ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 mobile workstation

Lenovo has unveiled a new flagship mobile workstation, the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3, expanding its ThinkPad notebook lineup. The presentation took place at IFA 2025 in Berlin.

The ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 is Lenovo’s first notebook with Intel Core Ultra 9 285 HX processors, allowing the company to compete with HP and Dell, which already offer workstations based on those chips. The device is aimed at professionals who need high performance for demanding tasks.

  • DDR5 RAM up to 192GB.
  • Storage up to 12TB on three PCIe Gen5 SSDs.
  • Nvidia RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell graphics with 24GB GDDR7 for complex 3D rendering and CAD.
  • 16-inch touchscreen OLED display with 16:10 aspect ratio (other screen options available).
  • A 99.9Wh battery.
  • Weight of 2.54 kg – portable enough for a workstation.

The ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 starts at $3339, with sales beginning in October 2025.
